20130915_171139Atlanta, GA-Righteous Vision Media Group producer, writer, and recording artist, Sherrod White has just signed an international distribution deal with Infinity Music/Central South Distribution.  Sherrod White is originally from Fayetteville, NC where he grew up being influenced by many different musical genres with a wide array of artists like John Coltrane, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Tupac and Dr. Dre.  As a newcomer to the Christian Hip Hop scene Sherrod White brings a style of hip hop all his own choosing a mixture of classic hip hop beats,  jazz fusion, symphonic sounds, and several different musical textures to create a fresh new sound.  The brand new debut album by Sherrod White, “Stripped Naked Broken” is an introductory soundtrack to the listener about who Sherrod White is as an artist, “It’s about what I believe, my world view, and hopefully the title will serve as a come as you are invitation to people in every walk of life.  A lot of people have the misconception of having the mentality that they have to clean up their lives before coming to Christ, but in reality it’s really the contrary; no matter what we do or try to do, we will never measure up to the standards that God lays before us.  We have to allow Him to do the stripping, peeling back the layers to get to where we are naked before Him so that we will be broken at His feet.  Then and only then will He be able to mold and shape us into the men and women that He has called us to be” says Sherrod.  The album features some of Sherrod’s most significant life experiences that have shaped him into the man you see before you and who he is striving to be in the future.  “I’m just giving the people me, the good, the bad, and the ugly and not necessarily a manufactured image.  I truly believe that everyone who listens to this project will be able to not only relate to it but be challenged to take action based on the different topics that are being addressed on the album” according to Sherrod.  “Stripped Naked Broken” is being produced by Tone Jonez, B-Dunn, and Sherrod White and the first single from the album, “Gonna Be OK” features R-Swift and  Alex Faith which will be out on November 19th.
