R.I.P. JESSICA ROBINSON A TRUE TALENT

Youngstown, OH-Songwriter, Singer, Author, Nurse, and overall super-talented, Jessica Robinson has passed away on Tuesday evening, May 21st.  “I’m truly at a loss for words, I got a call from Brandon Robinson a.k.a. Phoefire telling me the news this morning.  The world has tragically lost a truly amazing talent!  Jess did it all music, book writing, helping save lives as a nurse, and she loved Jesus like no other” says Jason Hollis of Life-Line Worldwide.  We first met her as a member of the group, Carnival a CHH group out of Youngtown, OH who put out 2 amazing projects both under the care of Producer, Kevin Deane (Naturally 7).  She has been hard at work as an author writing several books for Peace In The Storm Publishing.  As well as serving her community as a Nurse.  Please keep the Robinson family in your prayers but remember this is a celebration because even though we will miss her on this Earth she is dancing in Heaven with Jesus now!

SONGWRITING 101: SETTING UP YOUR BRAND

Presentation1 (2)The music business is a crazy ride that I’ve had the pleasure or heartache in some cases that I’ve been a part of most of my life since I was a teenager.  It’s a game filled with ups and downs but for the most part I’ve enjoyed it; a lot of it I had to learn the hard way through trial and error because no one showed me certain aspects of it.  After hundreds of albums I’ve had the opportunity to work on in A&R, Distribution, Marketing, Radio Promotions, Music Videos, as a Musician/Vocalist, etc. I’ve learned that most artists don’t take the time to learn the business side of the music business as much as they work on their craft creating music.  I just wanted to share with you how an artist can set-up their brand in this day and age of the Music and Entertainment business in a brief article.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM LIFE-LINE WORLDWIDE

HIP HOP PIONEERS ARE BACK WITH NEW ALBUM & NEW NAME!!

DOC-reunited-3Nashville, TN-Coal Mine Entertainment, Grammy and GMA Dove Award nominated recording artists, D.O.C. (Disciples Of Christ) are back after over a decade of silence. The Hip Hop Pioneers are in the studio recording a brand new album under a new name, Nimisilla Park.  The name change is due to being gone for so long and wanting a fresh start, because Nimisilla Park is where it all started in Ohio for founders Alton Hood and Michael Brown.  The new sound of Nimisilla Park is bold, unapologetic, and melodically infectious you’ll want to sing along on every song!  it’s a hybrid of Hip Hop, Rock, and R&B says Alton Hood.   Lyrically the group talks about their faith in God, hope, relationships, life, love, redemption, and cultural issues of the day.  “This new album is the genesis of our creativity and spiritual awakening.  Our mission is to unite the races, generations, and the denominations throughout the world.  We have been hard at work in the studio making sure that every single song leaves you wanting more,” says Michael Brown.
