I’ve had ups and downs like everyone in this business but I must say that God has always directed me through it all to come out on the other side.”  In addition to the music business side of things, Jason has traveled around the world on mission trips to multiple countries in Africa, Europe, and here in the USA for people with needs.  “I never thought that I would ever be placed in the mission field; it was something I said I would never do but then God said, “ok, I’m gonna take you out of your comfort zone.” What I found was it was absolutely humbling and I learned so much from the different cultures that I visited; it was an amazing blessing for me and my wife to see.”  The future at Life-Line Worldwide will continue to grow in many different ways with the ever changing Music Business and I’m sure Jason Hollis will continue to help raise up new artists for the generations to come.

SONGWRITING 101: SETTING UP YOUR BRAND

Presentation1 (2)The music business is a crazy ride that I’ve had the pleasure or heartache in some cases that I’ve been a part of most of my life since I was a teenager.  It’s a game filled with ups and downs but for the most part I’ve enjoyed it; a lot of it I had to learn the hard way through trial and error because no one showed me certain aspects of it.  After hundreds of albums I’ve had the opportunity to work on in A&R, Distribution, Marketing, Radio Promotions, Music Videos, as a Musician/Vocalist, etc. I’ve learned that most artists don’t take the time to learn the business side of the music business as much as they work on their craft creating music.  I just wanted to share with you how an artist can set-up their brand in this day and age of the Music and Entertainment business in a brief article.
